New England Climate Adaptation Project now underway!

September 1, 2012

The New England Climate Adaptation Project officially began in September 2012. Over the last couple months, our team from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Science Impact Collaborative, the Consensus Building Institute, the National Estuarine Research Reserve System, and the University of New Hampshire have completed summary risk assessments and stakeholder assessments for our four partner towns: Cranston, RI; Wells, ME; Barnstalbe, MA; and Dover, NH. We're now using this information to build tailored role-play simulation games, and intend to start running these games with public officials, agency personnel, and the general public in our partner towns starting in late April or early May. Watch here for updates about the project, information about what's going on in our partner towns, and ideas for how you can get involved in our project and climate change adaptation in your own area!
